The HTC Hero cell phone looks pretty cool and very similar to the HTC Magic in terms of the form factor and possibly slightly slimmer. New HTC Phones - HTC Hero remove the trackball. The android cell phones are designed nicely actually. Stepping away from basic designs and instead of integrating “nifty” gadget and buttons on each phone they try to do it focuses the user upon what makes it unique, the OS itself. Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite on sale for $149.99

The name Elite could’ve been give to a higher end design. It has a 3.5 inch screen compared to the V’s 3.2, 800mhz processor instead of the slower 600mhz, 5 megapixel camera up from the 3 megapixel, 1 gig of user memory instead of the 162 mb which to me is the biggest improvement. In any event, I’m just glad Virgin Mobile is finally upgrading its phones
