LG Rumour 2 headed to Bell, due on June 9
The last time we talked about the LG Rumour 2 was when we reported that it was on headed for Sprint in the US back in March. Now, it looks like it’ll be available in Canada as well courtesy of Bell.
This successor to the LG Rumor is expected to go on retail on Bell starting June 9. The rumored pricing indicates that it could go for $69.95 on a 3-year contract, $119.95 on a 2-year contract, and $219.95 for a single year. Getting out outright or on prepaid will cost you a hefty sum of $269.95. With the current LG Rumor now just costing $29.95 on a 3-yr contract, is the additional $40 in cost reasonable? With a slightly improved keyboard and changeable back plates, we’re sadly disappointed that the LG Rumour 2 doesn’t have anything really outstanding to offer to make it stand out from its predecessor and justify getting it as opposed to the more affordable LG Rumour.
Anyway, the pricing isn’t final yet so it could be lower than what is currently being reported. We’ll report more on this as soon as the official announcement is made.
