Telefónica And NTT DoCoMo Announce The Toshiba TG01, Service & Software Collaborations
Two giant carriers namely Spain’s Telefónica and japan’s NTT DoCoMo are set to launch the highly anticipated smartphone starting June or July. NTT will be selling it under the name of docomo PRO series T-01A in Japan. As a reminder, this high-end smartphone offers a huge 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS (upgradeable to 6.5), a 3D user interface, Wi-Fi, GPS and a microSD card slot. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing so far. In addition, both companies are also planning to collaborate for developing “possible services and applications for open OS handsets.” [ via ]
