The new HTC Firestone cell phone looks very much like the Diamond, this handset is on par with the iPhone in terms of hardware now, and I’m not complaining. These are not real photos of final products, so the icons on the buttons may change. New HTC Phones - HTC Firestone features include a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera, 600Mhz Qualcomm 8250 processor, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.0, AGPS and running Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. I still like the overall design, according to the leak the HTC Firestone is set for an August 2009 release, wait…..wait……Zzzzzzz……

Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite on sale for $149.99

The name Elite could’ve been give to a higher end design. It has a 3.5 inch screen compared to the V’s 3.2, 800mhz processor instead of the slower 600mhz, 5 megapixel camera up from the 3 megapixel, 1 gig of user memory instead of the 162 mb which to me is the biggest improvement. In any event, I’m just glad Virgin Mobile is finally upgrading its phones
