The third Android smartphone from HTC namely the has been officially unveiled. This new smartphone runs on Android 1.5 OS and features a 3.2-inch fingerprint-resistant touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels, a 5MP camera with autofocus, HTC’s latest Sense UI, an accelerometer sensor, Google Maps, Google Streetview and various other Google apps / services, GPS, WiFi, a microSDHC card slot, a 3.5mm headset jack and supports GSM as well as HSDPA connectivity. Samsung has announced the availability of its latest Android smartphone ‘ Galaxy Spica i5700 ‘ in Canada via Rogers. Nokia will launch an upgraded version of the Nokia E72 for the Chinese market. Dubbed as the Nokia E72i, the new handset supports WAPI (China’s own Wi-Fi technology). The new Nokia E72i features HSDPA, A-GPS, Nokia Maps, accelerometer, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 250MB of internal memory, a QVGA display and a full QWERTY keyboard.
