The Nokia 3720 cell phone meets the IP54 specification for being both water and dust proof. I think this phone may do well in the US and elsewhere if Nokia market it as being durable. The Nokia 3720 will running S40 and it is a cheap phone. they are pretty durable , but I could care less about this phone. The 3720 due out in September 2009.
