Sony Ericsson T715 gets announced, Coming to Canada
Sony Ericsson has just unveiled their latest offering, the Sony Ericsson T715.

This new slider comes with a decently sized 2.2-inch QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera with Photo Light, Google Maps, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support, Bluetooth, and HSPA connectivity. Most of its features are pretty standard in today’s mobile phones, but one thing unique about it, though, is its new smart desktop feature. Here, users will be able to view appointments, birthdays and other reminders in the home screen complete with animation effects. We’re not sure if the smart desktop will just be an exclusive feature in this phone or will eventually become a regular staple in Sony Ericsson phones. Nonetheless, its debut on the T715 should serve as a good test on whether it will become a hit amongst consumers or not.
The Sony Ericsson T715 expected to be released in Q3 in select markets, and the good news here is that Canada will be one of them. The pricing and carrier who will offer it up to Canadian subscribers is still yet to be known, but Rogers or Fido is a pretty safe bet. We’ll report more on this once additional info is made available.
