Bell BlackBerry Tour 9630 now Official, Available July 11th for $249.95 (3-yr contract)
It shouldn’t come as a surprise anymore that Bell will be offering up the BlackBerry Tour 9630 especially since their promotional material and feature guide has conveniently been leaked on the internet already. Nonetheless, nothing beats an official announcement, and that’s exactly what we have right now.

Bell has officially announced their BlackBerry Tour, and aside from what we already know about it, we now know when it’s going to be released. Contrary to prior rumors, Bell will unleash the BlackBerry Tour in Canada on July 11th beating Telus to the punch. Unfortunately, as far as pricing is concerned, very little changes were made in this department. Bell’s BlackBerry Tour 9630 will retail for $249.95 on a 3-year contract, $549.95 for 2-years, $649.95 for a single year, and $699.95 for outright purchase. This is, of course, a world edition phone so the higher cost shouldn’t be that much of a shocker.
Telus, for their part, still hasn’t officially announced the BlackBerry Tour. However, based from what we’ve gathered so far, they’re expected to release theirs on July 15 with a promotional price of $249.99 on a 3-yr contract (regular price of $449.99 on 3-yr contract), $549.99 on a 2-yr contract, $599.99 for a single year, and $649.99 month-to-month/outright purchase.
Since, apparently, there won’t be much of a difference between the pricing scheme of the two rivaling networks, from which carrier are you planning to get your BlackBerry Tour 9630 – Telus or Bell?
