HTC Touch Pro2 now official on T-Mobile USA
While Canadians continue to wait on Telus to formally launch the upcoming HTC Touch Pro2 in Canada, just a little south of the border, T-Mobile has announced their Touch Pro2 offering making them the first and currently the only carrier to make it available in the US.

This 3.2-megapixel camera equipped touchscreen phone will be launched in the US on August 12th. Apart from the camera, you can also expect a 3.6-inch WVGA display, AWS 3G, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, full QWERTY keypad, and that truly unique feature they call Straight Talk to be available on this Windows Mobile-powered HTC smartphone. The term ‘exclusive‘ was nowhere to be found in the announcement so its highly possible that it will also be available on other carriers as well.
Unfortunately, its retail price wasn’t made available. They do note, though, that it will be released in a mocha finish, but does anyone really what color it will come in? It’s more about the price and features these days rather than the aesthetics. Canadians, meanwhile, will have to continue to wait for Telus to make an appropriate announcement in the country.
