Verizon Motorola Calgary Android phone due in Q4 2009
As far as the US is concerned, most of the Android talk has circled around one carrier, T-Mobile. While we’ve heard about a Motorola Android phone hitting Verizon sometime this year, we haven’t exactly gotten any fresh news in the last couple of months regarding the Motorola Calgary, the phone in question.

Well, that was the case until today. According to The Street, it seems that Verizon will be ready to make their Android phone available to the public come Q4 2009 though they failed to confirm or deny if it will indeed be the Calgary. It was, however, mentioned that it will be a Motorola handset equipped with a QWERTY keypad. So, our bet is still on the Calgary phone due to the lack of any other related phones being leaked on the internet.
Unfortunately, that’s all we have for now, but considering that we’re already in Q3, we’re expecting more news regarding Verizon’s Android phone to surface in the coming months leading to the final quarter of 2009.
