The Verizon Samsung Intensity is a cheap QWERTY Keyboard phone, only for $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate both on a 2-year contract. The Samsung Intensity features include Slide-out QWERTY Keyboard, 1.3 Megapixel Camera with NightShot, a 2.1-inch display, V CAST Music with Rhapsody, Up to 16GB microSD Optional removable memory.

If you think about the technology inside these phones then you will realize $800 isn’t that bad for a computer the size of a wallet. That’s a very steep price tag…six hundred dollars or probably seven hundred dollars would have been a better compromise but eight hundred bucks for an unlocked phone that evidently will be discounted a couple months down the line isn’t worth it. Btw, the new AT&T HTC One X has no removable battery (though the capacity is weaker), no expandable memory, less going for it in terms of functionality /versatility of the software, camera is inferior to that on the SGSIII according to all reviews I’ve seen, etc..
