Following in the footsteps of their highly successful Cookie phone , LG has announced their new compact touchscreen phone, the LG GD510 Pop. The complete specs of this phone aren’t available yet, but as of this posting, it is confirmed to come with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, and 8GB of memory. Simplicity is a key element in the LG GD510 Pop which is why there’s only a single button on its front that serves a multi-functional role and glows either red or green depending on the phone’s mode.

AT&T is gearing up to offer its third-party developers an easier way to create and offer widgets and mobile apps on AT&T phones and other AT&T enabled products.

LG will release the LG GD510 cell phone next month in Europe. The phone comes jam packed with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400, a 3-megapixel camera, and a 8GB of storage space to store your captured pictures or videos. The LG GD510 also has an optional solar panel add-on, which will replace the battery cover with a solar panel for recharging your battery.
