LG Chocolate BL40 now Available in Europe

Just as promised, the LG Chocolate BL40 phone is now available in Europe.

If you’re planning to be one of the first to own this revolutionary device, you can get it from either Carphone Warehouse for free on an Orange 2-yr £35/month contract or its mobiles.co.uk division where it’s retailing for as low as £19.99 and goes as high as £129.99 depending on the carrier and plan. That’s basically $33 to $211 in the greenback. As a quick recap, the LG Chocolate BL40 is the first touchscreen phone to feature a 4-inch 800 x 345 pixel 21:9 HD ratio display. It also comes with a 5-megapixel camera, Schneider-Kreuznach optics, WiFi, A-GPS, 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, 3.5mm jack and runs on their S Class UI.

Given that LG stayed true to the timetable of releasing the BL40 in mid-September in Europe, there’s probably no reason anymore to doubt the earlier report that it will be hitting Telus in October.
