Unlike the , the e is yet to become official, but apparently, that didn’t stop from posting these unboxing pics of it on the internet.
Of course, we doubt that a simple white box will be the XPERIA X3’s final commercial packaging when it hits the market, but this does prove that ’s first Android is indeed real and looks to be in good condition for its eventual release. Aside from being their premier Android device, the Sony Ericcson XPERIA X3 also features a 1GHz Snapdrgon processor, 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 10Mbps HSDPA/2Mbps HSUPA connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 3.5mm AV connector, and a decently-sized 4-inch WVGA touchscreen. It’s pretty impressive across the board. We’re just hoping that its price won’t be a big letdown.
Rumor has it that the XPERIA X3 could be released as early as January 2010. There’s a lot of skepticism about its early release next year though as this could also be the month when the XPERIA X2 will hit the scene. Be that as it may, if these pictures are any indication of its current status, I’d say this XPERIA Android phone looks mighty fine and ready for a January release.

Samsung is one of the most activate supporters of Android given that they’re probably second to HTC as the phone maker that has the most number of Android devices in the market today. Now, we have a preview of one of their upcoming Android handsets, the Samsung i5800/i5801. It runs on Android 2.1, and comes with 3G connectivity complemented by WiFi.
The new T-Mobile Garminfone GPS cell phone No flash on the camera, no snapdragon, a mere 3 megapixels for cam, no super duper hi-res screen, no HDMI output or front facing camera and etc etc etc and it’s $199 bucks? Seriously? But It has 4GB internal mem… which is, I am sure for apps and map data.
In their bid to provide their clients more than just the average service, Rogers has just announced their Handset Protection Guarantee program, a first in Canada, which is scheduled to roll out on the 24th of this month. With the help of this program and at no added cost to the subscriber, customers who either lost or damaged their phone can get it replaced or repaired at a subsidized cost on their first out-of-warranty occurrence. Those who wish to avail of this program can call 1-888-ROGERS1 or visit the nearest Rogers retail store to make arrangements so that they can receive a replacement device while their handset is being repaired/replaced.
