Bell announces Novatel MiFi 2372 Mobile Hotspot, U998 HSPA+ Turbo Stick
Bell has just announced that they will also be releasing the Novatel MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot next month in conjunction with the launch of their HSPA network.
This will be a first in Canada and will allow Bell subscribers to have a hook up to 5 devices simultaneously via WiFi to this mobile HSPA-based Hotspot. The MiFi 2378 is compatible with both Windows and Mac platforms and also comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage (up to 16GB). In the same announcement, they also made official the Novatel U998 HSPA+ Turbo Stick which was featured in previous post regarding Bell’s maiden HSPA offerings. The U998 HSPA+ Turbo Stick supports up to 21Mbps HSDPA connectivity while the MiFi 2372, on the other hand, maxes out at 7.2 Mbps. Pricing for these devices wasn’t made known though.
Nonetheless, with November just around the corner, we’ll soon get the pricing details on these Bell HSPA devices hopefully along with additional info regarding their other new treats. You can read the full press release here.
