BlackBerry Curve 8520 now on Rogers, $99.99 (3-yr contract promo)

After getting leaked last month, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 has now officially been launched on Rogers.

Rogers BlackBerry Curve 8520

This relatively new trackpad-equipped BlackBerry smartphone is retailing for as little as $99.99 on a 3-year contract (promo). Opting for a voice only plan on a similar term will cost a $349.99 and it only gets more costly from here on end. 2-yr contract price is pegged at $399.99 while single year contract price stands at $399.99. Outright purchase cost of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is $449.99. It’s not exactly what we would call cheap, but considering that this is a world phone (quad-band EDGE) that also boasts of Mac compatibility right out of the box as well as Bluetooth and a 2.0-megapixel camera with video capture capabilities, it’s a pretty decent buy at its price point.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 isn’t listed yet on Rogers’ website, but it should be up there and available retail in the next couple of days. If you can’t wait any longer, you can likewise check it out at Best Buy Canada.
