BlackBerry Storm 9550 up for bid on eBay
Can’t wait get your hands on the upcoming BlackBerry Storm 2? If so, then read on as this latest bit of news might interest you. Someone has put this yet-to-be-announced full touchscreen BlackBerry phone on sale on eBay, brand new, unlocked and ready for use.
It started out at $600 Canadian dollars, but the winning bid currently stands at C$735.09. The auction started last week, October 8 to be exact, and will end on October 15. Think it’s worth bidding on? We’re not one to stop you if you think it’s well worth spending your hard-earned money on, but just a word of caution, RIM hasn’t announced this handset yet so if ever you run into some problems, chances are it won’t be covered by any warranty from the BlackBerry maker. Nonetheless, with its improved Piezo-based touchscreen and WiFi connectivity, we can’t blame you if you’re tempted to bid on this BlackBerry Storm 9550.
With that being said, I’ve always believed that patience is a virtue and will no doubt come in handy in situations such as this one. If I were you, I’d wait for it to become available through the carriers where I can have piece of mind that when it dies on me unexpectedly, there’s a warranty that I can rely on.
