Blackra1n iPhone 3.1.2 jailbreak now Available

The iPhone Dev Team hasn’t released an iPhone 3.1.2 jailbreak yet to the public, but fortunately though, Geohot’s got one ready to go.

Dubbed as blackra1n, this follow-up to the purplera1n iPhone jailbreak not only works on the latest iPhone 3G S, but also cracks all versions of the iPhone and iPod Touch including the new 3G iPod Touch (tethering only). What’s even better is that it’s actually pretty easy to use. Just download and run blackra1n, hook up your iPhone, and you’re done. Do note, however, that blackra1n, as of this posting, only works on Windows-based systems, and does not currently support the Mac OS. You can read more about it from Geohot’s blog.
