Rogers begins shipping Nokia 6790 Surge
It’s been a while, almost 3 whole months to be exact, since we last talked about the Nokia 6790 Surge, but now, we’ve got great news for you guys out there waiting on this Nokia QWERTY slide to become available on Rogers.

Mobilesyrup reports that Rogers has now begun shipping the Nokia 6790 Surge to their stores and should be available for retail as early as next week. If that’s not good enough new for you, maybe the new pricing will turn that frown upside down. Word is that the Rogers Nokia 6790 Surge will now just retail for $49.99 on a 3-year contract, $99.99 on a 2-year contract, $199.99 for a single year, and $279.99 outright purchase. Pretty affordable, right? If you’re interested in getting the Nokia 6790 Surge, you’ll be getting a slider that come with a 2.4-inch display, 2.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, Ovi Maps, 2.5mm jack, and can hold up to 16GB with a microSD card.
Sure, it’s hardly a match to Nokia N97 coming to Bell, but this will undoubtedly be a nice option for those working on a limited budget and looking to upgrade to a QWERTY device from the Finnish mobile phone maker.
