Samsung Blue Earth phone hitting Sweden this month, Other countries to follow
Here’s some good news for you environmentally conscious individuals out there. Still remember the Samsung solar-powered Blue Earth phone we talked about way back February? I’m sure you do, and if you’re pretty excited about it, this particular bit of news will be of special interest to you.

News is that the Samsung Blue Earth phone will be released very soon. Sweden will be getting first dibs on this eco-friendly device this month with Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and “other European and Asian countries” to follow thereafter. This HSDPA-capable touchscreen phone joins the Reclaim in the forefront of Samsung’s green movement.
Pricing wasn’t made available though nor was the US mentioned in the report. This certainly won’t make green advocates in the US jump for joy, but if you’re truly determined to be a proud owner of this solar power charging handset, a trip to Europe comes highly recommended.
