Telus unleashing BlackBerry Bold 9700 in November
Telus, who will also be launching their HSPA network soon, has joined both Rogers and Bell in announcing that they will be selling the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in Canada.
Similar to Bell, they didn’t reveal its possible retail price and when exactly it will be released it into the market, but they did, however, divulge that it will happen sometime in November. You can read the full announcement here. Aside from the iPhone 3G S, we’re still pretty much clueless as to what handsets Telus will be coming out with once they go live with their HSPA network. This latest announcement regarding the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is certainly a welcome respite from the current news blackout on Telus’ upcoming products.
The Palm Pixi was previously reported to be headed Telus’ way, but evidence to support this rumor has yet to surface. Be that as it may, with the iPhone 3G S and BlackBerry Bold 9700 good to go next month, Telus’ initial HSPA line-up is actually shaping up pretty well in my opinion.
