Bell lowers Palm Pre 3-yr contract price to $99.95

Last month, we saw Bell lower the on-contract price of the Palm Pre to $149.95 from a high of $199.95 when it was first released in Canada. Now, it’s at an all-time low of just $99.95.

We’re not too sure what forced Bell to further lower the price of the Palm Pre given that it’s a pretty remarkable device. The influx of new devices including the Apple’s iPhone 3G S on their recently launched HSPA network could have something to do with it or they could just be clearing some inventory to make room for the Palm Pixi. We’ll probably never know.

Be that as it may, one thing’s for sure though, those of you who have been waiting for a more affordable Palm Pre to hit the Canadian market have finally gotten their prayers answered.
