Fring brings Video Calling to the iPhone
Following the introduction of video calling on select Nokia S60 handsets, Fring is now proud to announce that video calling is now also possible on the iPhone.

Well, sort of. It’s actually just one-way video calling due to the lack of a front-facing camera on the iPhone. While Fring may support a variety of IM services such as Yahoo, Google Talk, and ICQ, video calling, however, is limited to just Fring and Skype contacts only.
Here’s a promotional video of the new Fring video calling service for the iPhone:
They’re promising though that two-way video calling will become available once the iPhone is equipped with a front-facing camera which we’re hoping will happen next year when the 4G iPhone is unveiled to the public. You can read their full announcement here.
If you already have Fring on your iPhone, simply update to the latest version to avail of this new feature. If not, just click here so that you’ll be directed to the App Store where you can download the Fring app now.
