Palm Pre webOS 1.3.5 update now Available for Sprint subscribers
Here’s some good news for you folks out there using a Palm Pre. Well, not exactly all of you, but those who are on Sprint in particular.
Your beloved carrier has started rolling out Palm webOS 1.3.5 to Pre phones in the country so you should be getting yours any minute/day now. webOS 1.3.5 was earlier rumored to be launching at CES next month, but it I guess they just couldn’t contain their excitement and decided to release it much earlier than expected. True to the earlier report, webOS 1.3.5 finally removes the memory usage cap on apps enabling Pre users to take advantage of their phone’s full memory. As far as downloading apps is concerned, users can now also simultaneously download multiple apps as well manually pause, resume, or cancel existing ones. There isn’t a Bell counterpart available as of this posting, but given that Sprint has theirs already, a Bell Palm Pre webOS 1.3.5 update should just be around the corner for Canadian subscribers.
