BlackBerry Curve 8520 coming to Fido in Q1

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 has been available on Rogers since October of last year, and if this latest tip from Howard Forums member DiamondElite holds true, we’ll also soon see it on their budget-friendly sibling network Fido.

BlackBerry Curve 8520

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is one of RIM’s newer smartphones that already comes with an optical trackpad. It also boasts of 3.5mm jack, dedicated multimedia keys on top, and a 2-megapixel camera at the back to complement its signature QWERTY keypad. No word though on when it will exactly be released, but it is reportedly hitting store shelves this first quarter of 2010.

Price is also still yet to be known, but for comparison’s sake, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on Rogers is currently retailing for $49.99 on a 3-yr contract and $399.99 for outright purchase.
