Lumigon’s Designer Android Handsets

Danish phone maker Lumigon has recently unveiled three new handsets at Mobile World Congress on Monday, two of which will run on the Android 2.1 operating system. Known as the Lumigon S1 and T1, both handsets feature an 800MHz ARM Cortex-A8 chip, assisted GPS capability, an FM receiver. Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, a 3.5mm audio jack, and the ability to output 720p HD video over an HDMI output and can double as universal remotes for home theater equipment. These fashion-oriented phones will be made of steel, aluminum and scratch-resistant glass. Lumigon will release the T1 at the start of this Spring, meanwhile the S1 is due for a later Spring release in the Nordic market and certain unnamed European countries. [Engadget]
