After less than a month of being released to the public, Telus has lowered the 3-year contract price of their BlackBerry Curve 8530 to just $24.99.

That’s a whopping 50% off its original retail price when it was launched just a couple of weeks ago. We’re not exactly sure what prompted them to make such a bold move, but we’ve got a feeling that the recent availability of the Curve 8530 on Virgin Mobile had something to do with it.
