Microsoft Kin phones ready for pre-order beginning May 6th on Verizon; Launching on May 13
Are you looking forward to Microsoft’s first mobile phone offerings, the Kin One and Two? If so, then this particular bit of news will be music to your ears.

According to this internal memo nabbed by Slashphone, the Kin One and Two will be ready for pre-order beginning May 6th on Verizon in the US, and will become available at “all channels on May 13th.” Pricing, unfortunately, is still a mystery, but we hear that it could retail for less than $150 when purchased with a contract.

If these Kin phones look familiar, that’s because they’re one and the same as the rumored Project Pink phones. The Kin One (formerly called the Turtle) packs a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and standard-definition video recording, mono speakers, and 4GB internal memory. The Kin Two (previously referred to as the Pure), meanwhile, ups the ante with a better 8-megapixel camera, stereo speakers, and 8GB of memory. Both models have a 600MHz processor running under the hood, 256MB RAM, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and EV-DO Rev. A connectivity complete with Microsoft Exchange support.
If this leaked info is legit, we’ll probably be hearing an official announcement either from Microsoft or Verizon within the next couple of days.
