Skype 3.0 for iPhone rolls out, Video-calling on iPhone now Live
We heard it was coming, at CES to be exact, but apparently, Skype didn’t want to wait that long and has just added video-calling functionality to the newest version of their iPhone app.

That’s right folks! Video-calling is now live on Skype 3.0 for the iPhone. What’s even better is, unlike FaceTime, this works on both WiFi and a 3G connection allowing you to enjoy video-calling virtually anywhere. Two-way video calling is supported on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3G S, and can be viewed either in portrait or landscape mode.
Skype 3.0 is compatible with the iPhone units running on as far back as iOS 3.0, but the video-calling feature only works with units installed with iOS 4.0 or later. Want to try it out? Head on over here to be redirected to the iTunes App Store to download this latest version of Skype for the iPhone.
