HTC EVO Shift 4G phone in Walmart, with specs
If there’s a phrase “to be available” to describe an upcoming smartphone, it’s the HTC EVO Shift 4G, aka the HTC Speedy or Knight. The device now shows up on Walmart’s website and coming with the phone itself, its features are finally confirmed. As reported several days ago, the price has been unveiled in Best Buy: $149.99 with a 2-year marriage, but till this moment neither the manufacture or carrier has officially confirmed the spec-wises. Now you’ve got a good chance to have a thorough understanding about the phone.
New Phones 2011 – HTC EVO Shift 4G phone
According to confirmed sources, it looks like the rumors have already offered us the real features, such as Android 2.2 Froyo OS, a slide-out physical keyboard, an 8MP camera with LED flash, Sprint 4G compatibility as well as a 3.7-inch 800 x 480-pixel touchwiz screen rather the rumored 3.6-inch size. Here I wanna to point out my doubts on the “DUAL-LED” flash on the released spec list. Obviously we can see only one LED flash on the backside of the phone, how can we call it “dual”? Besides, the thing that there’s no front facing camera on the list really makes me a little bit disappointed since it means you can’t use video chat with friends or family if so. However, to see is to believe, with the fact that the device is to hit Sprint on this Sunday (January 9th), you can go to the shops to check the phone by yourself.
Overall, the HTC EVO Shift 4G is still an affordable device with the nice looking and it can allow you to have nearly all the smartphone features to make your life easier. Well, if you are stick to the LG Optimus 2X, it will still last you a few weeks.
