Samsung: 10 million Galaxy S smartphones sold since June 2010

It’s been a good 2010 for Samsung largely thanks to their Galaxy S series. In fact, they’ve reached a new milestone with their hit Android smartphone. After first hitting the scene back in June of 2010, the Korean handset maker is proud to announce they’ve already sold 10 million Galaxy S handsets across the globe. The North American market accounted for majority of this figure with 4 million in sales with Europeans sales following suite with 2.5 million.
This is quite an achievement for the second largest phone maker in the globe, but the question is, can they sustain this impressive run throughout 2011? With two big tech shows – CES and MWC- all set to kick of 2011, we’re pretty sure we’ll soon find out.
