Pantech Breakout Unveiled

Verizon Wireless has officially confirmed the availability of the Pantech Breakout 4G LTE Android handset. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the smartphone features a fast 1GHz processor, a large 4-inch (480 x 800) display, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with 720p video recording capabilities, a VGA front-facing camera for video call, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS navigation. The phone also supports a 4G LTE connectivity with hotspot capability for up to 10 devices, Google apps, Android Market, and Swype. Verizon Wireless will release the Pantech Breakout on September 22nd, 2011 for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract. Each purchase comes equipped with an 8GB microSD card.
