Vodafone UK has begun selling Sony Ericsson’s latest Android smartphone ‘Xperia Arc S’ on their network. The handset is being offered for free if you sign a 24-month contract on pay monthly plans from 31 GBP (about $48). To refresh your memory, the Xperia Arc S packs a 4.2-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz processor, an 8.1MP autofocus camera with LED flash capable of capturing 3D images, a 512MB RAM, a 320MB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 5.76Mbps HSUPA, 720p HD video recording capabilities, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1500mAh battery and runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS.
