This waterproof, dust- proof and drop-proof handset features a 4.0-inch impact-resistant touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), dual cameras (1.3MP front & 5MP rear), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE connectivity and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

• LG Unveils Waterproof Optimus GJ

  LG has introduced its first high-end waterproof handset, called Optimus GJ. Its IPX7 certification means it can stay underwater at depths of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The Android-running Optimus GJ is slightly larger and thicker than original Optimus G and features a 4.7 inch IPS HD display13MP rear camera, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card slot, and a 2,280 mAh battery.

  Apple submitted court filings seeking to add the recently released Samsung Galaxy S4 to a US patent lawsuit.
