The new Samsung Galaxy S III will be crazy active in the developer community. I wish the 32GB was available in store. I hate waiting to get a new phone in the mail and prefer walking into a store, paying my money, and walking out with service.

For people looking to get the best phone for their money though, the SGSIII is the best you can get. Because it’s available on virtually every carrier and it’s already uber popular, the dev community will be the strongest around. Once the initial rooting, unlocking, etc. issues are solved, unofficial updates will lag Google OS releases by just a couple weeks.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III features include a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 8 megapixel main camera with an LED flash, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage, 4G LTE network, Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is available in 16 GB and 32 GB models for $199.99 and $249.99 respectively with a new two-year customer agreement. The 16 GB model will be available in stores and online starting July 10 and the 32 GB model will be available online starting July 10 and will be in stores in the coming weeks. Customers will also have the choice of the Galaxy S III in two colors: Marble White or Pebble Blue.
