Australia’s largest mobile operator Telstra is about to launch RIM’s brand new BlackBerry Pearl 3G (9100) on their network. The handset should become available later this month in two color options: piano black and royal purple, however, the company hasn’t made any announcement yet concerning its price.
Personally, I’m still on the fence with regards to the authenticity of the leaked BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider , but as far as RIM ’s newest clamshell phone, the BlackBerry 9670, is concerned, I’ve no doubt that it’s real especially with this hands-on video that has just recently surfaced. Telus mobile operator has recently launched the pink version of the popular BlackBerry Curve 8530. The handset is sold for $49.99 with a 3-year contract, $249.99 with a 2-year contract, $299.99 with a 1-year contract or $349.99 without any contract. To refresh your memory, this smartphone packs a 3.2-inch 320 x 240 display, a 2MP camera with video recording, a full QWERTY keyboard, a trackpad, dedicated media keys, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Looks interesting, the new BlackBerry Bold slider phone has potential for users that want a large screen and keypad. RIM is trying hard to draw me back in! slider is a touch screen. It actually looks really nice.
You are lucky if you are living in the UK, because Vodafone UK will launch the BlackBerry Pearl 3G in that region. Officially announced last week, the BlackBerry Pearl 3G features an optical trackpad and SureType keyboard, a 3.2 MP camera, 3G, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS capabilities and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, there is no info on the release date at this time
The Verizon BlackBerry 9670 is a flip phone, I’m liking the two screens, the new OS look too compelling either.
