New BlackBerry slider cell phone

Looking at this photo, the new BlackBerry slider cell phone looks like a Storm with a Pre slide out. I seen the newer models sure some are smaller and thin, a BB with a slide out keypad would be nice. BGR said the BlackBerry slider will have a 360Ă—480 touch screen display, WiFi and un BlackBerry OS 6.0, I hope the OS 6.0 includes much improved web browser functionality

Rogers ready to launch BlackBerry Storm 2? Possibly

We’ve been hearing for the longest time that Rogers will be getting a BlackBerry Storm as part of their line-up, but it’s only now that we’ve got some sort of evidence of this actually happening. This ad from the March issue of the Canadian Business magazine obviously entices its readers to check out the new BlackBerry Storm 2 , but what’s interesting to note here is the last sentence wherein it states “ see all there is to see with BlackBerry Storm smartphones from Rogers and other major retailers. ” There’s no mention though of a specific release date or pricing.

FireFox Mobile for Android possibly out later this year

FireFox Mobile is already out in its full commercial version for the Nokia N900 , but sadly, it’s yet to be available on other handsets and platform. That’ll soon change though before 2010 comes to a close as Mozilla VP Jay Sullivan reveals in an interview with TechRadar that they may have an Andoird version ready to roll out later this year
