SaskTel Canada has just listed the new HTC Radar 4G on their product page as ‘Coming Soon’. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. Telstra Australia has just announced the availability of the new Samsung Omnia W Windows Phone Mango smartphone on their network. The handset can be yours for free with a new 24-month contract and a $59/month tariff. To refresh your memory, the Samsung Omnia W packs a 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz single-core processor, a 512MB RAM, an 8GB of internal storage, a VGA front-facing camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash, GPS, HSPA, WiFi and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS. This is pleasing. Nokia is known for camera phones. Seeing as the most basic WP7 phone is the 710, the mid-range the 800, and the top-of-the-range is the 900, it’s safe to say that the 910 will be a high end handset in all other regards too. I’m expecting more lovely polycarbonate, the same 4.3″AMOLED screen as the 900, at least the 1.4GHz processor (possibly with a bit of a bump, or maybe even dual core, to do 1080p video) and probably 32GB storage.
Nokia’s release cycle is in the fall.
